1. Your name

Your name in Korean
마이클
sounds like ma-i-keul
Standard Korean spelling of this name.

Know a better spelling, or have a Korean name already? Type or paste Hangul here. Seals look best with 2–4 characters — for a long full name, try just your first name.

2. Seal style

Vertical reads top-to-bottom, right column first — the traditional way. Arc wraps the name around the rim with 印 ("seal") in the center.

Natural looks like a real stamp pressed on paper: uneven red paste, soft bleed, rough edges (slightly different every time). Clean is a crisp digital seal.

How your name is written in Korean

Korean writes foreign names by sound, using Hangul letters grouped into syllable blocks. For about 600 common first names and surnames we use the spelling Koreans already use (the one you'd see in news or on a movie poster). Other names are spelled by rules that follow the official loanword guidelines — a good first guess you can edit.

Names can have more than one accepted spelling (Anna is 안나 or 애나; Joseph is 조셉 or 조지프). Pick the one you like.

What is a Korean name seal (dojang)?

A dojang (도장) is a carved name stamp pressed in red ink paste. Koreans have long used them to sign documents and to mark artwork. A round seal with a double rim, like the default here, is the classic ingam (인감) look.

Is this a legal seal?

No. This is a decorative seal image. It is not a registered seal (인감 등록) and can't be used for legal or bank purposes in Korea. To make a physical stamp, take the image to a stamp shop — many in Korea will carve one from it.
